Medu Vada

    Soad urad dal (black gram) for 3 hours.
  2. Prep. (00:03:00)
    Grind the soaked dal into mixer grinder after removing excess water by draining it.
  3. Prep. (00:05:00)
    Mix the dal batter and salt into a bowl continuously until it becomes soft.
  4. Cook (00:05:00)
    Place oil to heat in a frying pan. Once it is heated make patty shape of 2 tbsp. batter and create a hole in the middle with thumb. You can grease your hand with water to make it easy or use vada maker. Deepfry vada until golden brown and crisp.

    Your vada is now ready and can be served with sambar and copra chutney.
