(06:00:00)In a bowl soak rice, urad dal and fenugreek seeds for 6 hours. Prep. (00:03:00)Drain the water and blend rice, urad dal and fenugreek seeds into a smooth and fluffy batter add water if required. Prep. (06:00:00)Cover the batter in a larger bowl and keep it in a warm place for about 6 hours (in winter it will take longer). After 6 hours the batter would rise as it will grow in size due to fermentation which is why we need a larger bowl. Prep. (00:01:00)Add salt to the batter and mix it thoroughly. Cook (00:04:00)Heat griddle for about 2-3 minutes. Make sure the griddle is heated perfectly and then pour a ladleful of batter in the middle of the griddle and start spreading it in a circular form on the griddle. Add few drops of oil if the griddle is not non-stick. Prep. (00:01:00)Once the bottom of the batter spread appears to be golden brown fold it to form a semicircle. Prep. (00:01:00)Dosa is now ready to be served with copra chutney and sambar. Prep. Time:12:06:00 Cook Time:00:04:00 Total Time:12:10:00
