This is the most common bread used in the Indian household. Image Ingredients Wheat Flour 100 g Cooking oil 1 tsp. Water 0.25 Cup Clarified butter (Ghee) 2 tbsp. To apply on roti Instructions Prep. (00:05:00)In a bowl mix flour and oil and knead dough. Add water while doing so. Once done keep it aside for about 3 minutes. Prep. (00:01:00)Apply a bit of oil on the dough and again knead it and make 15 equal portions of it. Cook (00:00:00)Place a pan on the stove to heat. Prep. (00:07:00)Roll out each portion into a 4" diameter flat circle using a rolling pin. Cook (00:07:00)Roast each roti on both sides in a flat pan (tawa) for about half a minute. Once it is cooked remove the pan from the flame and roast the roti directly on the flame for a couple of seconds so it gets swelled like a balloon. Prep. (00:00:00)Roti is ready.
