  1. Prep. (00:05:00)
    Mix Bottle gourd, 1 green chili, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 tespoon garam masala, 5 gram ginger and corn flour. Make about 10 small koftas (patties shaped).
  2. Cook (00:05:00)
    Deep fry the koftas on low flame until they turn golden brown.
  3. Cook (00:08:00)
    Create tomato puree by heating mixture of 1/2 cup water, tomatoes, chili, onion, garlic, red chili powder, turmeric powder. Once it is cooked keep it aside to cool.

    In a pan heat the oil. Once heated add cinnamon, clove and prepared tomato puree. Keep stirring, once the oil appears on the top add 1/2 cup water, kasuri methi, garam masala and stir. Lastly add koftas and cook for next 3 minutes.

    Doodhi kofta is now ready. Place it in a serving bawl and garnish with coriander, cashew, grated cheese and/or cream.
